TRADITION AND
SUSTAINABILITY
The Finca de Uga has established itself as the gastronomic pantry for our restaurants. Tradition and sustainability, innovation and quality, effort and achievement: these are the concepts that perfectly define Finca de Uga’s philosophy and reality. A sustainable, organic farm funded by the Rosa Group, which supplies the fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy products and cheeses served every day in the various gastronomic outlets at Hotel Fariones and the Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort — a clear commitment to showcasing the island of Lanzarote through its local produce and cuisine, empowering the island’s roots and promoting home-produced food and drink.

With passion and pride, we carry the heartbeat of our roots into each of our products, crafted naturally and artisanally, respecting the traditions and experiences of our land. We are Canarians who love our culture, we are heirs of a history, we are caretakers of our environment, we are km0. Together with Bodega Stratvs, located in the heart of La Geria, the most emblematic landscape of Lanzarote, we form Rosa Origins, the division most linked to the roots, tradition, and culture of Rosa Group. A commitment to sharing the passion for our history and culture through our wines, cheeses, products, and experiences.
Located in the heart of the island of Lanzarote, where nature and tradition come together, Finca Uga is a farmstead that includes dairy animals and other livestock species. It also houses a small artisanal cheese dairy, whose cheeses have been nationally and internationally recognized and awarded several times by the World Cheese Awards as the best in the world.
A pioneering project, an example of effort and overcoming challenges, a commitment to the land and people, a love for nature and gastronomy. Born from our passion to offer the best natural products in the different gastronomic spaces of Rosa Hotels, Hotel Fariones 5* and Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort 5*. At Finca de Uga, fruits and vegetables are cultivated, animals are raised, and dairy products and artisanal cheeses are made with utmost respect for the environment and animal welfare.

We only use the milk from our own animals, Majorera goats, Canarian sheep, and Jersey cows, which give us yogurt and a variety of high-quality cheeses, from pressed cheeses made from a single milk type to mixed cheeses with different coagulations, both vegetable and dairy, with an annual production limited to 30,000 kg. Our production method seeks sustainability by ensuring the maximum comfort and well-being of the animals, which has allowed us to achieve cheeses with a unique personality and quality, recognized by top experts. Among our cheeses, several of the best from 2023 and the best cheese from Spain in 2024.
